In my experience F1 fans fall into one of two categories; they either want a view of a braking zone for the best chance of seeing some overtaking or they prefer to be positioned on the start / finish straight for the best views of the pre race build up, team garages and podium celebrations.
If you fall into the latter category, the Starting Grid hospitality may just be for you.
A Starting Grid hospitality package combines access to a ground floor restaurant located in front of the Centrale Grandstand with a seat in one of the grandstands along the start / finish straight.
The grandstands along the start / finish straight in Monza are split into left (Sinistra), right (Destra) and central (Centrale) with the Centrale grandstand overlooking the pole position grid spot.
The grandstand to the left of Centrale is positioned just ahead of pole position and opposite the final team garage before the pit lane exit. Grandstands to the right of Centrale extend down the pit lane with the final section ideally located for views of the podium celebrations.
Expect refreshments to include coffee and pastries in the morning followed by a buffet lunch with a choice of accompaniments.
Alcohol is limited and usually only served during lunch time from around 11am to 2.30pm.

Full days watching your favourite team or driver can take their toll, so the cool air conditioned surroundings of the Fans Club lounge can provide some welcome respite from the Monza heat.
The Fan’s Club combines access to a ground floor lounge located just beyond the final pit garage at the pit exit end of the pit lane and a grandstand ticket at the Asacri chicane, only a short walk from the lounge and arguably one of the best vantage points at Monza.
Choose how you split your time between the Fans Club lounge and the Ascari Grandstand for great views of the pit lane and the on track wheel to wheel action. TV screens keep you up to speed with all the timings and out of sight action.
A Key advantage of the Fans Club is it’s close proximity to the cars as they exit the pit lane. There are very few vantage points at Grand Prix circuits which allow spectators to stand only a few metres from a moving Formula One car (albeit behind glass).
Couple this with impressive views down the pit lane and the chance to witness a Formula One pitstop, which is possible due to the Fans Club’s location just beyond the final pit box, make the fans club an excellent way to combine the atmosphere of the grandstands with a little extra comfort and convenience.
Expect refreshments to include coffee and pastries in the morning followed by a buffet lunch with a choice of accompaniments.

Garden Grandstand Lounge hospitality combines grandstand viewing with the extra comfort and convenience of an outdoor garden area to relax and socialise between the on track action.
Previously called the Monza VIP Box, the Garden Grandstand is a private grandstand located on the inside of the circuit just beyond the exit of the pit lane.
This is good for views of the cars at top speed as they race down to the first corner chicane but you’re unlikely to see any overtaking unless it’s DRS assisted. It’s also worth noting that seats in this grandstand are usually unnumbered and therefore first come first served for the best spots.
Refreshments are served in the adjoining garden lounge with music & entertainment to enhance the atmosphere.
Expect refreshments to include coffee and pastries in the morning followed by a buffet lunch with a choice of accompaniments.

The Race Club Lounge in Monza is located on the first floor of the Hospitality Building just beyond the final pit garage at the pit exit end of the pit lane and in front of the Start/Finish line.
Unlike the Fans Club, Garden Grandstand Lounge and Starting Grid hospitality which require you to walk between the hospitality facility and a grandstand, the Race Club is self contained with hospitality and race viewing confined to the lounge and its viewing balcony.
Simply step out of the lounge and onto the seated terrace with views over the the start / finish straight the pit lane.
Floor to ceiling windows provide impressive views but do dull the sound.
In previous years the Race Club Lounge has hosted Q&A with F1 insiders. Expect refreshments to include coffee and pastries in the morning followed by a buffet lunch with a choice of accompaniments.
