Solo travellers & single room occupancy

If you're traveling alone or require single occupancy rooms, you'll need to factor this in. Single occupancy supplements will be determined by your choice of hotel and the duration of your trip.

Just let us know which of the travel packages you are interested in, and we can calculate the additional cost for you.

Circuit transfers

Circuit transfers are not necessary in Baku. You can walk from the hotel to the Icheri Sheher, Azneft and Absheron (Main) Grandstands in 15-25 minutes.

Baku also has a metro system and metered taxis if you prefer not to walk.

Flights to and from Baku

Our Azerbaijan Grand Prix travel packages are based on economy class flights from the United Kingdom to and from Baku.

If you're traveling from elsewhere in the world, please let us know, and we can provide you with a tailor-made quotation.

There are very few flight options when travelling to/from Baku. Our packages are based on indirect flights via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines from Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester or Edinburgh. There are direct flights from London but they do not operate daily.

The only way to secure your trip and lock in the price quoted is to make a confirmed booking. Flights and accommodation and tickets are priced on live availability and may change without notice until secured. It is not uncommon for prices to increase in line with availability and exchange rates so all trips will be repriced at the time of booking.

Excited but have a few questions? Need a tailored quote to suit your travel requirements? We're here to help, so please don't hesitate to contact us.

Where to stay at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Choosing a city center hotel for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix lets you walk to the circuit, bypassing the need for transfers. Keep in mind, though, that hotel quality in Baku can vary widely. It's advisable to opt for well-known hotel chains or seek out recommendations for peace of mind.

Choosing a hotel close to your vantage point will keep walking to a minimum but Baku is easy to navigate on foot and taxis are readily available if you do find yourself in need of transportation.

Why go to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix?

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix, held on the streets of Baku, offers a unique blend of history, culture, and high-speed motorsport action, making it a standout event on the Formula 1 calendar.

The track layout, known for its long straight and tight city corners, often leads to unpredictable and competitive racing.

The city comes alive during the Grand Prix weekend, with fans from around the world creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. Alongside the race, there are concerts and entertainment.

How many days should I spend at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix?

We recommend spending four full days, from Thursday to Sunday, at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. This allows you to take part in the pit lane walk and attend all the practice and qualifying sessions leading up to the main event on Sunday evening.

Grandstand tickets are valid for three days as standard at the Baku Street Circuit.

Additionally, you can enjoy the full schedule of support races between the F1 track action.

Four-day Azerbaijan Grand Prix itinerary

This four-day Azerbaijan Grand Prix itinerary offers a comprehensive experience at the circuit, ensuring you don't miss any highlights, including F1 practice sessions, qualifying rounds, and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix itself.

Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend schedule at a glance

Here’s a quick overview of what to expect during each day at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Day 1 includes a complimentary pit lane walk in the afternoon, offering a close-up view of teams preparing their cars.

Day 2 is packed with Formula 2 practice and qualifying sessions, interspersed with the first and second practice sessions for Formula 1.

Day 3, the morning starts with Formula 1 team pit stop practice, followed by the third F1 practice session, the Formula 2 Sprint Race, and the climactic Formula 1 qualifying.

Day 4, features the Formula 2 Feature Race, the drivers' parade, and the highlight event, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Short on time? If you don’t have 4 days

If you're on a tight schedule, arriving in Azerbaijan on Friday evening or Saturday morning for two full days will still enable you to experience all the F1 qualifying action and the Grand Prix.
