This is where most people start. It’s for fans who want to watch the race from the grandstands. If you’re not sure which one to pick, here’s what I’d tell friends and family: for big views of both the track and Monaco, go for Grandstand K overlooking the Harbour.

If you’d rather have views into the pit lane so you can see into the team garages and catch the pit stops, go for Grandstand T.

Grandstand A at St Devote, Grandstand B at Casino Square, and Grandstand V at Rascasse are also personal favourites.

Every grandstand I’ve listed has a great view—so go with what suits you best.

Monaco categorises seating into lower and higher rows. We’ll always prioritise higher rows first. If they’re sold out, we’ll quote for lower or suggest an alternative grandstand.

All hotels in Nice are central, so you’ll be close to bars and restaurants in the evenings and within walking distance of the train station for transfers to and from the circuit.

Accommodation

Our preferred hotels are the Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame (four-star), DoubleTree by Hilton Nice Centre Iconic (four-star), Boscolo Exedra Nice (five-star), and the Fairmont Monte Carlo.

Hotels in Nice are all centrally located, so you're never far from Nice’s Promenade des Anglais, the train station for quick transfers to and from Monaco, and plenty of bars and restaurants.

In Monaco, we recommend the Fairmont Monte Carlo. If you have an alternative hotel in mind, please let us know and we can provide a tailor-made quotation.

Adding extra nights in Nice or Monaco

We can tailor-make your trip to include additional nights in Nice or Monaco.

Just let us know how many nights you'd like to stay either before or after the Grand Prix weekend, and we can calculate the additional cost for you.

Solo travellers & single room occupancy

If you're traveling alone or require single occupancy rooms, you'll need to factor this in. Single occupancy supplements will be determined by your choice of hotel and the duration of your trip.

Just let us know which of the travel packages you are interested in, and we can calculate the additional cost for you.

Circuit transfers

Packages based in Nice include open return train transfer between Nice and Monaco.

If you would like to upgrade to a private vehicle transfer between Nice & Monaco (vv) just add £75 per person to the prices above.

Flights to and from Nice

Our Monaco Grand Prix travel packages are based on economy class flights from Gatwick and Stansted. If you have an alternative airport preference or are traveling from elsewhere in the world, please let us know and we can provide a tailor-made quotation.

We can also provide tailored quotes for upgrading from economy class to premium economy, business, or first class if you or travelling from outside of Europe.

The only way to secure your trip and lock in the price quoted is to make a confirmed booking. Flights and accommodation and tickets are priced on live availability and may change without notice until secured. It is not uncommon for prices to increase in line with availability and exchange rates so all trips will be repriced at the time of booking.

Watching the Monaco Grand Prix from a high-rise apartment terrace is something else. The elevated view gives you a completely different perspective you just don’t get at most circuits. Pick the right spot, and you can take in nearly the whole track from one place.

The Shangri-La and Ermanno Palace apartments are two of the best for this. They’re right next to the circuit, and from the terrace you can see around 70% of the lap. That includes the grid, Sainte-Dévote, pit exit, the climb up to Casino Square, the tunnel exit, chicane, harbour front, and the swimming pool section.

It’s like watching a Scalextric track from above. You see every move as it happens. You don’t need to rely on TV screens to follow the action, though they’re there if you want them.

There’s a full hospitality setup with an open bar, premium drinks, and food served all day. Everything’s taken care of, so you can just settle in and enjoy the racing.

If you want the full Monaco experience without missing a moment, this is one of the smartest ways to do it.

£7,253 per person staying at the Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame
£8,113 per person staying at the Boscolo Exedra Nice
£13,540 per person staying at the Fairmont Monte Carlo
Being on board a yacht at Monaco is just about as Monaco as you can get. You’ve seen them on TV, lined up trackside in the harbour, and it really is a fantastic way to take in everything this Grand Prix has to offer. I love being on the yachts. There’s just something about them.

There’s a full hospitality setup with an open bar, premium drinks, and food served all day. Everything’s taken care of, so you can just settle in and enjoy the racing.

There’s space to relax. Soak up the sun on deck or take a break indoors where you can still follow the race on the screens. It’s a great mix of comfort, views, and atmosphere.

My tip? Mix it up. Try the yacht on Saturday, then go for a different kind of Monaco view on Sunday. Something like the Fairmont Hairpin or Ermanno Palace at Sainte Dévote. That way, you get the full experience from two completely different angles.

And if you’re after something even more memorable, there are evening yacht parties too. Music, drinks, and Monaco lit up at night. It’s a brilliant way to end the day.

Essential tips for planning a trip to the Monaco Grand Prix

Try and book everything well in advance

When planning a trip to the Monaco Grand Prix, it's a good idea to book everything well in advance. Tickets typically become available a few months after the previous year's Grand Prix, often with early bird pricing. Flights are generally released around 50 weeks prior to travel, varying by airline, and hotel bookings are available even earlier.

Decide on your view

The Monaco Street Circuit has a fantastic selection of grandstands to watch the race from. Our Monaco Grand Prix travel and official tickets packages allow you to choose from any of the Monaco Street Circuit  grandstands. All grandstands include a reserved seat.

The Monaco Grand Prix boasts some of the most spectacular vantage points in motor racing.

At the Sainte Devote corner, the first on the circuit, you witness the tight turns that have been the stage for numerous incidents over the years.

Another iconic spot is the Casino Square grandstand, where fans can watch the cars navigate the corner at Hótel de Paris and glide past the Casino, a truly classic scene.

Lastly, the Anthony Nogues corner offers an intimate view, where spectators can see the cars closely as they cluster together entering the lap's final turn.

Check out our guide to  help you choose the perfect grandstand for your Monaco Grand Prix™ experience.

Upgrade your Monaco Grand Prix Experience

The Monaco Grand Prix stands out not just for its unique race track but also for its unparalleled hospitality options.

Take in track-side, bird's-eye views from high-rise apartments and terraces, offering a vantage point covering about 70% of the circuit, a perspective not typically available at other Grand Prix circuits.

For a truly glamorous experience, one can watch the Monaco Grand Prix from the deck of a luxury super yacht, offering an exclusive setting in the midst of the scenic Monaco harbour.

Another distinct vantage point is the Fairmont Monte Carlo hotel, offering an up-close view of the hairpin bend, a notoriously slow and tight section of the track known for its challenging overtakes and racing drama.

Check the F1 website for the full Monaco Grand Prix schedule

The race weekend schedule for a Grand Prix weekend, including support races and events like the drivers' parade, is usually released about a month before the race.

Check the Automobile Club de Monaco website regularly

Regularly check the official Automobile Club de Monaco website for up-to-date information, including event schedules, f1 fanzone details and driver autograph sessions.
