Which Baku City Circuit grandstand is the grandest?
In this guide we’ll help you choose the perfect grandstand for your Azerbaijan Grand Prix™ experience.
Drivers blast down two enormously long straights in a dumbbell-shaped layout that runs counterclockwise. The two main straights are dotted with grandstands (Giz Galasi, Mugham, Sahil, Bulvar and Khazar) which are good if you want to see the cars at high speed.
Absheron (Main) Grandstand
The Absheron grandstand at the end of the main straight is a great choice if you like having a view of the team garages, the pre race build-up and the chequered flag. Before the race you’ll seen engineers making final preparations to the cars and the drivers coming and going on the grid.

Icheri Sheher Grandstand
Elsewhere, the Icheri Sheher grandstand provides a unique vantage point. Cars twist and turn in front of the grandstand with the impressive backdrop of the old town walls.

AzNeft Grandstand
AzNeft is a high speed sweeping left-hander. The grandstand here faces the cars head-on as they break downhill before accelerating away down the long straight to the finish.

In previous years, 3-day ticket holders were given access to a Pit Lane Walk on the Thursday. This is likely to continue in future years, and it’s a great way to soak up the F1 atmosphere and see the garages, teams and cars up-close.
