Which Canadian Grand Prix grandstand is the grandest?

In this guide we’ll help you choose the perfect grandstand for your Canadian Grand Prix™ experience.
Montreal is a venue that almost always delivers an action-packed race. Tight corners and unforgiving walls are a hallmark of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. And one section of particular renown – the Wall of Champions on the track’s final chicane – has caught out many drivers over the years.

Grandstands are positioned along the back straight, turn 10 hairpin and the proceeding straight, Senna Curve (first corner) and the start / finish straight.

Main Grandstand
The Main Grandstand in Canada is positioned along the start / finish straight facing the pit building. If you’d like a vantage point that allows you to see into the team garages and into the pit lane then the Main Grandstand is the grandstand for you.

First Corner Grandstands at the Canadian Grand Prix
Positioned on the inside of the straight leading from the main straight to the entrance of Turn 1, the Platinum Grandstand has a prime view of the entrance to the Senna corner.

Grandstands 11 & 12 located on the outside of the Senna corner have the best views of the circuit. There is always a lot of action at this part of the lap, especially at the start of the race. Facing the famous Senna Curve, grandstands 11 & 12 have a great view of the drivers negotiating turns 1 and 2. You can also see the cars rejoin the track at the end of the pit lane.

Back Straight Grandstands at the Canadian Grand Prix
Located on the inside of the track, Grandstand 32 has an impressive view of Turns 6 and 7. Meanwhile, Grandstand 31, positioned on the outside of the track with the Montreal skyline to your right, provides a clear view of the right-left combination of Turns 8 and 9.

Both Grandstand 32 and Grandstand 31 promise a close-up view of the drivers in action.  Brace yourself for heavy braking and intense acceleration as they navigate these chicanes.
Turn 10 Hairpin Grandstands at the Canadian Grand Prix
Turn 10, also known as the "Hairpin," is a hotspot for passing opportunities as the drivers decelerate entering the corner and then accelerate exiting onto Casino Straight. Here, drivers undergo a significant 6G turn, slowing down to just 35 mph.

Situated on the outside of the track, Grandstand 15 faces the hairpin at the end of a high-speed 190 mph straight. You'll have a clear view of the entry and exit, ensuring you catch all the excitement.

Grandstand 34 is on the narrow strip of infield between the entry and the exit of the hairpin looking towards Grandstand 15.

With hard braking, overtakes, and full-throttle acceleration, these grandstands are a fantastic spot to watch from.

Grandstands 24 & 46 are strategically placed at the exit of the Hairpin before cars accelerate onto Casino Straight.

Seats in these grandstands are very close to the activities zone and the metro station.
