Which United States Grand Prix grandstand is the grandest?
In this guide we’ll help you choose the perfect grandstand for your United States Grand Prix™ experience.
One of the few anti-clockwise F1 tracks, the Circuit of the Americas is a modern circuit inspired by classic Formula One venues. Hockenheim's stadium section, Istanbul's multi-apex Turn 8 and the Becketts-Maggots complex at Silverstone – the DNA of all three is clearly present in Austin. But Austin’s signature stretch, the steep run from the starting line up to a near-blind hairpin bend, is a true original.
So, which grandstand should you choose?
Main Grandstand
The Main Grandstand is the place to see that blazing-fast starting run up to Turn 1. You’ll also have great views of the pit lane, the starting grid and the team garages.
Turn 1 Grandstand
The Turn 1 Grandstand itself might be an even more thrilling choice. A sharp left-hand hairpin 133 feet above the start line, Turn 1 is a fascinating driving challenge. Because it’s uphill, drivers can brake really late and there are several different lines they can take - presenting opportunities for overtaking.
From the Turn 1 Grandstand you’ll have excellent panoramic views including views of the main straight, the first corner and the cars leaving the pit lane.

Turn 4 Grandstand
If you want to see high speed racing, seats at Turn 4 are a good choice. F1 drivers call it the most exhilarating section of the circuit, and no wonder – you’ll see them twitch left and right at speeds up to 200mph.

Turn 12 is a crucial braking zone for the drivers and the Turn 12 Grandstand, positioned on the outside of the corner, provides more than just a good view of this key braking zone. With its elevated position, it offers spectators a remarkable vantage point, capturing nearly the entire circuit.
From the cars accelerating uphill into turn 1, navigating through the 'S' section of the first sector, all the way to Turn 12 unfolding right in front of you, and then accelerating into the final sector – you get to witness it all.
