Where to stay during the Austrian Grand Prix?
In this guide we’ll help you choose the best place to stay during your trip to the Austrian Grand Prix™.
Staying in Vienna gives you the most choice of hotels covering a wide range of budgets. You’ll also be in one of Europe's most beautiful and culturally rich cities. Vienna, however, is just over a two hour drive from the Red Bull Ring so expect early starts and late nights if you plan to stay here.
Graz is also a popular base for travelling F1 fans, and is only about a one hour drive from the Red Bull Ring. Graz has a limited number of hotels to choose from, and the city hosts an F1™ fan event with themed entertainment to keep your F1™ party going even when you’re not at the circuit.
Austria has a huge number of holiday homes and chalets for hire, and they’re mostly geared towards the winter ski season. Since the Grand Prix™ takes place in summer, you can often grab a great deal for the F1 weekend.
Camp sites are also available at the circuit and some have pre pitched tents so you don’t need to take your own.
