A typical Canadian Grand Prix weekend runs Friday to Sunday. Friday is for practice. Saturday is final practice and qualifying. Sunday is the Grand Prix. Some race weekends follow a sprint format, with sprint qualifying on Friday and a sprint race on Saturday.
