What our customers say…

How we work

We work as a specialist travel agency for Formula One fans. Rather than block-booking hotels and flights in advance, we search for the best available options for each trip and build a package around your preferences.

Every package includes the essentials. Race tickets, flights, accommodation, and practical information to help you get the most out of your weekend. If you want to add extras or upgrades, we can help with that too.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix FAQ's

Flying directly into Abu Dhabi is the most straightforward option. Etihad Airways and other international carriers offer daily direct flights. If direct flights are limited or expensive during Grand Prix weekend, flying into Dubai is a practical alternative. Abu Dhabi is around 60 to 90 minutes away by road, and this option often gives you more flexibility when demand is high.

Most hotels used by Grand Prix visitors are around 20 to 30 minutes from the circuit, which keeps travel straightforward. For maximum convenience, many fans choose to stay on Yas Island, where hotels are within walking distance of the circuit. From your hotel to your grandstand seat or hospitality suite is usually around 15 to 20 minutes on foot.

Taxis and ride-share services are reliable and good value for travel to and from Yas Marina Circuit. Inside the circuit, shuttle buses run between grandstands, making it easy to move around the venue across the weekend.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has a unique day to night format. The floodlights come on as the race progresses, creating an atmosphere that is unlike most other events on the calendar. It is often the final race of the season, which means championship positions and prize money can still be at stake. Alongside the racing, there are post-race concerts featuring international artists, a pit lane walk, and a full schedule of support races. Each day ends with complimentary concerts on Yas Island, which are included with your grandstand ticket.

Tickets typically become available shortly after the previous year's Grand Prix. This is often when early bird pricing is released, so it is a good time to start planning if you want the best choice of seats.

Flights are generally released around 50 weeks before travel, though this varies by airline. Booking early usually gives you more flexibility on timings and routing.

Many hotels in Abu Dhabi can be booked more than a year in advance. Popular hotels tend to fill quickly once Grand Prix dates are confirmed, so early booking helps with availability.

Four days, from Thursday to Sunday, gives you the full experience. This covers the pit lane walk, all practice and qualifying sessions, and the race itself. Grandstand tickets are usually valid for two or three days, and each day typically ends with complimentary concerts. If time is limited, attending on Sunday for the race alone is perfectly viable.

The race takes place in late November to early December. Conditions are usually mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-20s to low-30s Celsius. Humidity is generally low and rain is uncommon.

Accommodation

Our preferred hotels in Abu Dhabi include the Aloft Abu Dhabi (four-star), Pearl Rotana Capital Centre (four-star), Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan (four-star), Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi (four-star), Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana (four-star), Millennium Al Rawdah (five-star), Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi (five-star), Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi (five-star luxury), and Fairmont Bab Al Bahr (five-star). These hotels are approximately a 20-minute drive from Yas Marina Circuit.

If you would prefer to stay on Yas Island, the W Abu Dhabi Yas Hotel, Yas Plaza Mangroves, Crowne Plaza Yas Island, and Yas Plaza Marina are all a short walk from the circuit.

If you have a particular hotel in mind that is not listed here, let us know and we will put together a tailored quote.

Getting to the circuit

We do not include circuit transfers in our Abu Dhabi packages, and here is why.

If you stay in one of our recommended hotels around 20 minutes from Yas Marina, taxis and ride-share services such as Uber and Careem are a flexible and good value option. Getting there is straightforward — the hotel doorman can usually arrange a taxi within minutes.

If you find it difficult to get a taxi after the race, walk over to one of the hotels on Yas Plaza, have a drink or a meal, and wait for the crowds to thin out. It usually does not take long before taxis are easy to find again.

Some hotels offer their own vehicles for circuit transfers, but during Grand Prix weekend these are typically charged by the day rather than the journey. Over three days, the cost adds up and you may find that staying on Yas Island works out better value.

You may come across packages that include shared coach transfers from Dubai. These are worth understanding before you book. The journey from Dubai to Abu Dhabi takes between 60 and 90 minutes each way, and coaches often stop at multiple hotels before departing. On the return, you will need to wait for all passengers before the coach can leave. If you would like to compare this option, we work with a couple of trusted operators and can get you a price.

If you are only attending on race day, a chauffeur-driven transfer from Dubai can be a practical choice. For all three days, staying in Abu Dhabi is likely to be the more comfortable option.

Pricing and availability

Flights, accommodation, and tickets are priced on live availability. Prices can change until a booking is confirmed, and may increase in line with availability and exchange rates. Confirming your booking is the only way to secure the price quoted.
