This is the most popular way to attend a Grand Prix. You get a grandstand seat for the race, plus accommodation and everything you need for the weekend. The grandstands put you amongst fellow Formula One fans, and some of the best viewing positions on the circuit are grandstand seats.

FAQ's

Monza is one of the oldest circuits on the Formula One calendar and one of the most atmospheric. It is the home Grand Prix for Ferrari, which means the tifosi — Ferrari's passionate supporters — come out in force. The circuit is known for its long straights and high speeds, which makes for a different kind of race to most other venues. It is regularly cited as one of the must-see events on the calendar.

Three days, from Friday to Sunday, gives you the full experience. Grandstand tickets are sold as three-day tickets. You will see practice and qualifying as well as the race itself, plus the support series that runs across all three days.

Tickets typically go on sale around nine months in advance, often with early bird pricing available at that point.

Flights are generally released around 50 weeks before travel, though this varies by airline.

Many hotels in Milan are available to book more than a year in advance.

September in Monza is generally mild to warm, with temperatures typically ranging from the low to high 20s Celsius. It is a comfortable time of year to attend an outdoor event.

Where you’d be staying

Milan, within a few hundred metres of Milan Central Station. That puts you a short walk from the trains to Monza.

Getting to the circuit

Trains run from Milan Central to Monza throughout the race weekend, and the journey takes around 10 minutes. A shuttle bus connects Monza station to the circuit. A return ticket covering the train and the bus is €10, and you can buy it in advance or on the day.

Trains run throughout the day, so you’re on your own schedule. Get there early or leave late for the support races that run alongside the Formula One.

If you’d prefer a private transfer, I can arrange chauffeur-driven circuit transfers from £1,100 per vehicle per day.

Solo travellers & single room occupancy

If you are travelling alone or require a single occupancy room, a supplement will apply. The cost depends on your choice of hotel and the length of your trip. Let us know which package you are interested in and we will calculate the additional cost for you.
