This is the most popular way to attend a Grand Prix. You get a grandstand seat for the race, plus accommodation and everything you need for the weekend. The grandstands put you amongst fellow Formula One fans, and some of the best viewing positions on the circuit are grandstand seats.

Based on two people sharing. The guide price doesn't include flights. Our packages do include flights, but we quote them separately because airfares vary widely depending on your departure airport and travel dates. These packages include hospitality plus behind-the-scenes access, such as grid walks and paddock tours. For many fans, extras like these have traditionally been out of reach. This option makes them more accessible.

Where you’d be staying

Around a 15 to 20 minute train journey from the circuit. There are also hotels within walking distance of the circuit, or at it, if you’d rather be as close as possible.

Getting to the circuit

From the hotels I use, it’s around 15 to 20 minutes to the circuit. Trains run throughout the day, so you’re on your own schedule. Get there early or leave late for the support races that run alongside the Formula One.

If you stay within walking distance, you won’t need transfers at all.

Solo travellers & single room occupancy

If you are travelling alone or require a single occupancy room, a supplement will apply. The cost depends on your choice of hotel and the length of your trip. Let us know which package you are interested in and we will calculate the additional cost for you.

The Madring Circuit at IFEMA MADRID is accessible from central Madrid by metro and bus. Madrid International Airport is well connected with flights from across the world, making it straightforward to reach from most major cities.

Madrid is a city with a lot to offer beyond the racing, which makes it a popular choice for fans travelling with people who may not follow the sport closely. The circuit is new to the Formula One calendar and features some distinctive sections, including La Monumental, the longest banked curve in the Championship. The weather in September is typically warm and dry, which makes it a reliable destination for a race weekend. If you have time around the Grand Prix, the city has plenty to explore, including Retiro Park, which is worth a visit.

Three days, from Friday to Sunday, gives you the full experience. You will see practice and qualifying as well as the race itself, plus the support series that runs across all three days. Grandstand tickets are available as individual days or three-day packages, though single day tickets are only available for a limited number of grandstands. If time is limited, attending on Sunday for the race alone is perfectly viable.

Flights are generally released around 50 weeks before travel, though this varies by airline.
