This is the most popular way to attend a Grand Prix. You get a grandstand seat for the race, plus accommodation and everything you need for the weekend. The grandstands put you amongst fellow Formula One fans, and some of the best viewing positions on the circuit are grandstand seats.

Our packages do include flights, but we quote them separately because airfares vary widely depending on your departure airport and travel dates. Tickets usually go on sale shortly after the previous year's event, often with early bird pricing available at that point.

Flights are generally released around 50 weeks before travel, though this varies by airline.

Many hotels and holiday homes in Austria are available to book more than a year in advance.

Three days, from Friday to Sunday, covers everything from practice and qualifying to the race. Grandstand tickets are available as individual days or three-day packages, so you can choose which days to attend. If time is limited, attending on Sunday for the race alone is perfectly viable.

Early July in Spielberg is generally pleasant, with daytime temperatures typically around 22°C. There is a reasonable chance of rain, so it is worth packing a waterproof layer and being prepared for changeable conditions.

There are two options. Staying in Wiener Neustadt gives you shared coach transfers to the circuit, which keeps things simple. Staying in Graz gives you more flexibility, with private taxi transfers arranged for each day. Graz also has more hotel options and a wider choice of restaurants and bars for the evenings.

The Red Bull Ring is a compact circuit set in the Austrian countryside, and its open layout means you can see a large proportion of the track from almost any grandstand. Overtaking is a regular feature of the race, with long straights and heavy braking zones creating plenty of wheel to wheel action. The event takes place in early July, when the surrounding scenery is at its best.

Three days, from Friday to Sunday, gives you the full experience. You will see practice and qualifying as well as the race itself, plus the support series that runs across all three days. Grandstand tickets are available as individual days or three-day packages. If time is limited, Sunday alone is perfectly viable.
