What our customers say…

How we work

We work as a specialist travel agency for Formula One fans. Rather than block-booking hotels and flights in advance, we search for the best available options for each trip and build a package around your preferences.

Every package includes the essentials. Race tickets, flights, accommodation, and practical information to help you get the most out of your weekend. If you want to add extras or upgrades, we can help with that too.

FAQ's

The Hungaroring is located about 30 minutes northeast of central Budapest. Budapest International Airport is around 25 minutes from the city centre and is served by a range of airlines. Train and coach services also connect Budapest to several European cities, including Vienna and Zurich.

Most fans base themselves in central Budapest, combining the race weekend with a stay in one of Europe's most beautiful cities. There is a wide range of hotels to suit different budgets. Camping is also available at the circuit, including pre-pitched tent options.

The Hungaroring appoints an official taxi provider each year. You can usually pre-book your taxi to the circuit, and official operators often have access to a VIP express lane. Getting back by taxi can take longer, as taxis are allocated on a first come first served basis. Trains from Budapest require a metro connection, an overground train, and then a shuttle bus for the final leg. Helicopter transfers are also available from central Budapest. They are good value and avoid the traffic entirely.

Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities on the Formula One calendar, which makes the Hungarian Grand Prix a popular choice for fans who want to combine a race weekend with a city break. The Hungaroring is known for its bumpy surface and tight corners, which creates intense racing and demands smart strategy from the teams. Taking place mid-season, it often falls at a crucial point in the championship battle.

Three days, from Friday to Sunday, gives you the full experience. Friday and Saturday cover practice and qualifying. Sunday is race day. The support series, including Formula 2, Formula 3, and the Porsche Supercup, runs across all three days. If time is limited, attending on Sunday for the race alone is perfectly viable.

Tickets typically go on sale shortly after the previous year's Grand Prix.

Flights are generally released around 50 weeks before travel, though this varies by airline.

Many hotels in Budapest are available to book more than a year in advance.

July in Budapest is typically warm and pleasant. Temperatures usually range from around 18°C to 29°C. There is some chance of rain, so it is worth being prepared for changeable conditions.

Yes. Every year we help people plan a Grand Prix trip for someone else. If you are not an F1 fan yourself but want to give someone the experience of attending a live Grand Prix, get in touch and we will guide you through the process.

Yes. All bookings are ATOL protected and covered by the Travel Trust Association. Your money is secure from the moment you book.

We take care of everything from start to finish. Flights, accommodation, tickets, transfers, and all your travel documents are organised for you. You just need to show up and enjoy the racing.

Accommodation and getting to the circuit

We use four and five-star hotels in central Budapest. The best hotel choice depends on how you plan to travel to and from the circuit each day.

Continental Hotel Budapest Shared coach transfers to and from the Hungaroring are included if you stay here. Coaches leave after breakfast, around 8am, and return at the end of each day’s track action.

Mamaison Hotel AndrĂ¡ssy Budapest This hotel is a good option if you plan to use the City Shuttle. The shuttle departs from Heroes’ Square, about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. Buses run every 20 minutes or less depending on demand. In 2025 the one-way fare was €20 per person, payable by card or cash on site. Outbound buses run from mid-morning to early afternoon on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Return buses from the circuit start at 16:00 each day. Details for 2026 will be confirmed closer to the event.

Aria Hotel Budapest This hotel works well if you plan to reach the circuit by private car, taxi, or helicopter.

Each year the Hungaroring appoints an official taxi provider for race weekend. You can usually pre-book your taxi to the circuit, and official operators often have access to a VIP express lane. Return transfers by taxi are less straightforward and queues can be long, as taxis are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Trains from Budapest city centre do not run directly to the Hungaroring. You would need to take the metro out of the city, connect to an overground train, and then use a shuttle bus for the final leg.

Helicopter transfers from central Budapest to the circuit are good value and avoid the traffic entirely. A return transfer including taxi pickup and drop-off from your hotel is £650 per person.

Pricing and availability

Flights, accommodation, and tickets are priced on live availability. Prices can change until a booking is confirmed, and may increase in line with availability and exchange rates. Confirming your booking is the only way to secure the price quoted.
