Brightline train and shuttle
The Brightline is the most reliable way to reach the circuit. Trains run during race weekend from Miami Central Station, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and Orlando, all to Aventura station. The journey from Miami Central to Aventura takes around 17 minutes.
From Aventura, a complimentary round-trip shuttle takes you directly to Hard Rock Stadium. Look for the Hard Rock Stadium Connect icon when booking your Brightline ticket to make sure your train includes the shuttle service.
If you’re staying in Downtown Miami or along the Brightline route, this is usually the easiest way to get to and from the circuit.
Taxi and rideshare
Taxis, Uber, and Lyft all operate across Miami. For race weekend, drop-off and pickup are at designated off-site lots near the circuit, with a free shuttle to the entrance from there.
After the race, expect longer waits and higher prices on rideshares due to demand. The Brightline train is worth keeping in mind as a backup option for the journey home.
Driving and parking
Driving to the circuit is possible, but traffic around Hard Rock Stadium is heavy on race days. If you plan to drive, allow extra time and check your route in advance.
Parking at the circuit must be booked ahead through the official event website. Without a pre-booked parking pass, you won’t be able to park at the venue.
After the race
The post-race exit can be slow. The Brightline train and shuttle system handles a good share of the crowd, but rideshare prices spike sharply for the period right after the race. The most predictable option is the Brightline if you’re staying along its route.

I keep going back to these travel companies because they’re reliable, easy to use, and usually have the best value. They’re where I start every time I plan a trip.
Tickets
Motorsport Tickets and Grand Prix Tickets are the two agencies I’ve trusted for years. They’ve always been reliable, easy to deal with, and quick to help if something comes up.
Hotels
ZenHotels is one of my go-to sites for hotel bookings. It pulls prices from loads of smaller sites you might not know about, so it’s great for finding deals. I also check Expedia and Booking.com when I want more options.
Excursions
Viator is packed with walking tours, attraction tickets, and local experiences. It’s especially handy if you’re heading to a new Grand Prix city. It’s a great place to find extras to add to your trip.

Money-saving tip
Use the Brightline both ways
The Brightline train and free shuttle is the most predictable way to reach the circuit and avoids both the cost of pre-booked parking and the rideshare surge pricing that hits after the race. Booking the Brightline both ways is usually the cheapest combined option.
