Plateau Mont-Royal
Plateau Mont-Royal lies just on the boundary of downtown. Hotel rates are generally lower, but you’re still in a central location with easy access to the circuit and to Montréal’s bars, restaurants, and attractions.

A note on Old Town
Old Town has a number of boutique hotels and is one of the most atmospheric parts of the city. It’s also where many fans head for bars and restaurants in the evenings, especially during race weekend. If you’re a light sleeper, this is worth knowing before you book.
Cutting your journey to the circuit
To reach the circuit, you take the Metro to Berri-UQAM station, then change onto the yellow line for the short ride to Jean-Drapeau. The yellow line journey itself is only about three minutes. If you stay close to Berri-UQAM, you can walk straight to the station and skip the first Metro leg altogether.
Any of the hotels listed above is only a short walk from a Metro station that connects to Berri-UQAM.
