Hello, I’m Rob. Formula 1 travel is what I do.
I have visited around 75% of the current Formula 1 circuits and have spent over 30 years researching and attending races. Helping other fans plan their own trips has become as much a part of what I do as attending the races myself.

I started working in travel straight after school, beginning unpaid at a local agency. They eventually hired me. From there I moved into building complex itineraries for travellers around the world, including tailor-made trips for faith groups, charities and NGOs working in humanitarian relief. That background shaped how I approach planning, and it informs everything I put into GP Traveller.
How GP Traveller started
In 2009 I founded Altitude Luxury Travel. GP Traveller grew out of that, as a dedicated resource for Formula 1 fans planning Grand Prix trips. It is where I now spend most of my time.
Why GP Traveller
Everything on this site is based on first-hand experience. The guides, the grandstand recommendations, the accommodation advice and the transport tips all come from time spent at the circuits, not from a desk. A lot of research goes into each guide, with the goal of making the planning process straightforward for you. Not everyone enjoys the planning side as much as I do, and that is exactly why GP Traveller exists.
