Getting around during the Bahrain Grand Prix
In this guide you’ll learn about the different options to help you get around during the Bahrain Grand Prix™.
Getting to the Circuit is relatively easy using the free shuttle buses that run frequently throughout the race weekend. Buses typically depart approximately every 45 minutes from mid-morning (around 10 am) until late evening (usually 11 pm). In previous years shuttle bus pick-ups have been available from several hotels, including Sofitel, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons Hotel, Intercontinental Regency, Nordic Palace & Spa – Seef, Ibis Hotel Manama, Ibis Styles Diplomatic, Gulf Hotel, The K Hotel, and The Olive Hotel.
Shuttle bus schedules are usually published on the bahraingp.com website a few weeks before the Grand Prix.
Uber and Careem both have rideshare apps so you can book a car for immediate pick-up or schedule for a specific time. The Careem website has a fare estimator so you’ll know how much you’re likely to pay but prices will increase at busy times including immediately after the Grand Prix and the evening concerts.
Taxis can be booked by phone, app or by your hotel front desk. Hotels can be an invaluable source of information, and assist with booking your taxi through a reputable company.
