Which grandstands at the Circuit of The Americas are covered?
The Main Grandstand Mezzanine, the Turn 4 Upper, and the Turn 19 Upper are covered. The rest are open to the weather.
Main Grandstand prices
The Main Grandstand runs along the start-finish straight, opposite the pit lane and team garages. From here you see the grid before the start, the cars accelerating up the hill into Turn 1, the pit stops through the race, and the podium afterwards.
Main Grandstand Club and Mezzanine (covered) seats both start from $2,030.50 (£1,525 | €1,765 | CA$2,865 | A$2,925 | NZ$3,515).
Main Grandstand Lower seats start from $1,567.50 (£1,175 | €1,365 | CA$2,210 | A$2,255 | NZ$2,710).
Main Grandstand Trackside seats start from $1,309.50 (£985 | €1,140 | CA$1,845 | A$1,885 | NZ$2,265).

Turn 1 Grandstand prices
The Turn 1 Grandstand looks over Big Red, the steep uphill hairpin at the end of the start-finish straight. The climb gives drivers several lines into the corner, which makes it one of the main overtaking spots on the lap, and the height gives you a wide view across much of the circuit.
Turn 1 Upper seats start from $1,464.50 (£1,100 | €1,275 | CA$2,065 | A$2,110 | NZ$2,535).
Turn 1 Middle seats start from $1,361.50 (£1,020 | €1,185 | CA$1,920 | A$1,960 | NZ$2,355).
Turn 1 Lower seats start from $1,206.50 (£905 | €1,050 | CA$1,700 | A$1,735 | NZ$2,085).
Turn 4 Grandstand prices
Turn 4 is one of the more affordable reserved options, and its upper level is covered.
Turn 4 Upper (covered) seats start from $949.50 (£710 | €825 | CA$1,340 | A$1,365 | NZ$1,645).
Turn 4 Lower seats start from $712.50 (£535 | €620 | CA$1,005 | A$1,025 | NZ$1,235).
Turn 9 Grandstand prices
Turn 9 is bleacher seating at the lower end of the price range.
Turn 9 Upper seats start from $635.50 (£475 | €555 | CA$895 | A$915 | NZ$1,100).
Turn 9 Lower seats start from $604.50 (£455 | €525 | CA$850 | A$870 | NZ$1,045).
Turn 12 Grandstand prices
Turn 12 is bench-style bleacher seating rather than seat-back chairs, which is reflected in the lower prices. It falls in the mid-range for the circuit.
Turn 12 Upper seats start from $846.50 (£635 | €735 | CA$1,195 | A$1,220 | NZ$1,465).
Turn 12 Middle seats start from $764.50 (£575 | €665 | CA$1,080 | A$1,100 | NZ$1,325).
Turn 12 Lower seats start from $661.50 (£495 | €575 | CA$935 | A$955 | NZ$1,145).
Turn 15 Grandstand prices
The Turn 15 Grandstand is in the arena section, the run of corners through the final sector. It looks across several turns at once and over the back straight, where the cars reach their highest speed before the heavy braking at Turn 12.
Turn 15 Upper seats start from $1,412.50 (£1,060 | €1,230 | CA$1,990 | A$2,035 | NZ$2,445).
Turn 15 Middle seats start from $1,206.50 (£905 | €1,050 | CA$1,700 | A$1,735 | NZ$2,085).
Turn 15 Lower seats start from $1,001.50 (£750 | €870 | CA$1,410 | A$1,440 | NZ$1,735).
Turn 19 Grandstand prices
Turn 19 is a covered grandstand near the Grand Plaza at the end of the lap, and its prices are among the lower reserved-seat options.
Turn 19 Upper (covered) seats start from $820.50 (£615 | €715 | CA$1,155 | A$1,180 | NZ$1,420).
Turn 19 Lower seats start from $635.50 (£475 | €555 | CA$895 | A$915 | NZ$1,100).
General Admission
General Admission is the entry-level ticket. The Grounds Pass gives you grounds access and the general viewing areas rather than a reserved seat, and it is the cheapest way into the circuit for the weekend. It starts from $450 (£340 | €390 | CA$635 | A$650 | NZ$780).

Buying your tickets
American Express runs a presale for the United States Grand Prix, which can give cardholders access to tickets before they go on general sale. If you don’t already hold an American Express card, you can apply for one here.
If the presale has closed, Grand Prix Tickets sometimes lists tickets that are no longer available on the COTA website
